Preventive Oral Care

Preventive dentistry is defined as the practice of caring for your teeth to keep them healthy. Dr. Lis Bradley, DDS does this by educating her patients on the importance of oral hygiene and developing individualized treatment plans to maintain the health of teeth and gums.

The benefits of preventive oral care are endless. Having teeth extracted, filling cavities, or endodontic (root canal) therapy are a few procedures that can be avoided with preventive measures. Preventive measures in dental treatment are intended to defend the onset of dental disease; an example of this is using dental sealants to prevent cavities. Dr. Lis Bradley, DDS wants patients to know that healthy teeth and gums start at home. It’s important to brush your teeth at least twice a day and floss and least once a day. In addition to your home care routine, you should visit our office twice a year for professional cleanings.
